Japanese veteran Yuki Kondo will face Yutaka Kobayashi in a welterweight bout at Pancrase 319. The event is set for Shinkiba Studio Coast on October 25th

Kondo (61-36-9) is one of the most experienced fighters in the sport. The 45 year old made his Pancrase debut in 1996 and went on to fight for the UFC and ONE Championship.

He has already fought twice in 2020. Kondo beat Akihiro Murayama by decision at Pancrase 312 and stopped Binta Mochi in the opening round at ISMOS 1.

Kobayashi (11-23-4) is coming off back to back losses at Pancrase 303 and Pancrase 307. In 2016 he won the promotion’s Neoblood lightweight tournament.

In the bantamweight division Takeshi Kasugai has been booked to face Toshinori Tsunemura. The matchup had initially been scheduled for Pancrase 317 in August.

Kasugai (25-7-1-1) dropped a decision to Alan Yoshihiro Yamaniha at Pancrase 309 last year. But he did enjoy some success in 2019, winning three fights out of four and earning the right to call himself the Deep bantamweight champion.

Tsunemura (14-10-4) is coming off back to back defeats at Pancrase 307 and Pancrase 304. He challenged unsuccessfully for the Deep bantamweight title in 2014.

In the strawweight division Hiroaki Ijima (12-13-3) faces Yuta Miyazawa (7-3). The former made his pro debut in 2008 and has lost his last three while the latter saw a three fight winning streak snapped by Toshiya Takashima at Pancrase 312.
