Deep 99 is set for Tokyo on November 1st. The event will be headlined by a bantamweight fight between Yuki Motoya and Chihaya Yoneyama.

Motoya (25-8-0-1) is coming off wins at Deep 94 and Rizin 23. He has previously held titles with the promotion at both 125lbs and 135lbs.

Motoya made his Deep debut in 2011. He has been fighting for the promotion ever since and has also appeared in the Rizin ring eight times, taking on the likes of Kyoji Horiguchi, Justin Scoggins, Patchy Mix and Hiromasa Ogikubo.

Yoneyama (9-1-1) made his promotional debut at Deep 92, stopping Koichi Ishizuka with a knee. He also tasted victory at Pancrase 302 and Pancrase 305 but will be fighting for the first time this year.

At 24 Yoneyama is seven years younger than Motoya. But he comes into this bout on the back of three straight stoppage wins and will be looking to demonstrate his title credentials by beating a veteran bantamweight.

Deep 98 is set for New Pier Hall on the same day. Tickets are available and there will be a live audience in the venue.
