Zebaztian Kadestam will make the second defence of his welterweight title at ONE: ‘Dawn of Valor’ in Jakarta. The Swedish champion faces Kiamrian Abbasov on October 25th.
Kadestam (12-4) has stopped his last three opponents, establishing himself as the division’s top dog in the process. His only loss for ONE Championship came at the hands of Ben Askren in 2017.
Abbasov (21-4) earned his title shot on the back of a dominant stoppage win over Yushin Okami at ONE: ‘For Honor’. He’s won three straight fights but was beaten by Luis Santos, who Kadestam holds a win over.
The co-main event will be a kickboxing title fight. Regian Eersel rematches Nieky Holzken, the former won the promotion’s lightweight title by beating the same opponent at ONE: ‘Enter the Dragon’ and neither man has competed since.
As previously revealed the card will feature the promotional debut of John Lineker. The UFC veteran will face Muin Gafurov in a bantamweight fight on October 25th.
