Having been knocked out in both of his ONE Championship fights so far Amir Aliakbari has wisely decided to put the trash talk on the backburner. But the Iranian heavyweight is adamant that he will never give up.
He posted a defiant message on Instagram:

Our Persian isn’t exactly fluent but the gist of the message seems to be; ‘I trained very hard for these fights, real failure is when you make your enemies happy by giving up and I will never give up’.
It isn’t exactly clear which enemies Aliakbari might be referring to. But ONE Championship title holder Arjan Bhullar was among those who mocked the Iranian after his latest loss, comparing him unfavourably to a heavy bag.
Aliakbari definitely hasn’t got his ONE Championship career off to a good start, particularly after declaring he was the best heavyweight on the roster. Can the Iranian turn things around?
