The ONE: ‘Only the Brave’ card is shaping up to be a big one. The interim heavyweight title will be on the line in the main event with Anatoly Malykhin set to face Kirill Grishenko for the strap.
Malykhin (10-0) was next in line to face regular champion Arjan Bhullar who turned down an offer to fight the Russian. The undefeated Russian is coming off a first round knockout win over Amir Aliakbari at ONE: ‘Revolution’.
Grishenko (5-0) has also won two fights out of two since signing for ONE Championship. The Belarusian has benefitted from Bhullar’s absence and will have the opportunity to fight for the belt.
As previously announced Jarred Brooks has been handed a quick turnaround by ONE Championship. The American is set to face Hiroba Minowa at ONE: ‘Only the Brave’ in Singapore on January 28th.
Kim Jae Woong is set to take on Tang Kai in a match that also has the makings of a title eliminator. The former is ranked #1 while the latter is #4 at featherweight.
In the lightweight division Lipeng Zhang takes on Ruslan Emilbek. At flyweight Tatsumitsu Wada faces Shuo Wang.
