Andy Nguyen is set to compete in bare knuckle boxing! The Rizin veteran, who is of Vietnamese descent, made the announcement on Twitter earlier today:

Nguyen made the transition from working as a ring girl at MMA events to becoming a mixed martial artist. She fought twice for Rizin, facing Rena Kubota and Miyuu Yamamoto.

She also fought her namesake Bi Nguyen twice, with both women earning a decision win apiece. At Jorge Masvidal’s Gamebred Fighting Championship 2 last October she won a bare knuckle MMA match.

This will be Nguyen’s first ever bare knuckle boxing match and the identity of her opponent has yet to be revealed.
