An atomweight bout between Bi Nguyen and Jihin Radzuan has been added to the reshuffled ONE: ‘Big Bang’ card. The event is set for the Singapore Indoor Stadium this afternoon.
Nguyen (5-5) is coming off a decision loss to Stamp Fairtex at ONE: ‘Masters of Fate’. She will be fighting for the first time since lockdown started and has travelled from the US to compete on this card.
Radzuan (5-2) is based in nearby Johor Bahru and is also coming off a decision loss. She was beaten by top title contender Denice Zamboanga at ONE: ‘Mark of Greatness’ and will be fighting for the first time this year.
The kickboxing title fight between Roman Kryklya and Murat Aygun has been postponed. The Ukrainian is unable to compete on tonight’s card because one of his cornermen tested positive for Covid-19.
With both fighters currently in Singapore the fight is now likely to take place on ONE: ‘Collision Course’. That fight is set for December 18th.
This is the second event to be pulled from today’s card due to a positive Covid-19 test. The flyweight bout between Danny Kingad and Kairat Akhmetov was also scrapped because one of the Filipino’s cornerman contracted the virus.
