La Nsang was born in Myanmar but is based permanently in the U.S. and currently trains at Sanford MMA in Fort Lauderdale. Among his training partners is Takashi Sato who fought at UFC on ESPN 12 last weekend.

The 35 year old holds a 26-10-0-1 record and has won his last seven fights. He was scheduled to defend his middleweight belt against Vitaly Bigdash before the coronavirus, or Covid-19, crisis began.

La Nsang was last seen in action at ONE: ‘Century’ part 2. He successfully defended his light heavyweight title by stopping Brandon Vera in the second round.
