Double G 6 is set for Seoul this Friday. The inaugural featherweight title will be on the line with Azizbek Satibaldiev and Jun Young Hong rematching in a bid to become the promotion’s first ever 145lbs champion.
Satibaldiev (16-7) is riding a six fight winning streak but has not fought since 2019. His last fight was against Hong, he beat the Korean by decision at Double G 3.
Hong (10-6-1) is coming off as stoppage win over Sang Won Kim at Double G 5. He has been a professional since 2014 and fought for the interim Top FC 145lbs belt.
The promotion will also be handing out a strawweight title this week. Bo Hyeon Park (3-1) will challenge for the belt but the identity of her opponent has not been confirmed.
Min Woo Kim (5-1) can perhaps consider himself unfortunate to have been overlooked for a featherweight title shot. He is coming off wins at Double G 3, Double G 4 and Double G 5 and has been matched with Da Won Yoon (3-2-1)
Also in the featherweight division Jae Hyuk Bang (5-4) faces Seung Min Shin (5-4). The other 145lbs fight on the card pits Kyung Seob Lee (3-2) against Dong Hyun Seo (3-2)
In the welterweight division Seok Hyun (5-5) has been matched with Jong Gi An (2-1). Meanwhile Hoon Seok Lee (3-1) faces Je Il Jung (5-5) in a lightweight fight.
