A brand new MMA promotion is launching in Korea next month. The Beast Championship 1 will be headlined by a flyweight fight between Chang Ho Lee and Joo Hwan Kim.
Lee (6-0) only fought once in 2020. He claimed a decision win over Sung Joo Hwang at Zeus FC 3 and will be dropping down a division for this flyweight fight.
Kim (6-2) did not compete at all last year. His most recent outing was at OWS 9 in 2019 where the 27 year old stopped previously undefeated Thai flyweight Saharat Khongsawat in the opening round.
The event is set for February 27th and will be broadcast on YouTube. There is no information about the venue or availability of tickets at the time of writing.
In the heavyweight division Myung Hwan Kim (2-1) faces Seung Jun Lee (1-2). UFC veteran Will Chope (38-17) has been matched with Min Hyuk Lee (5-2) in a lightweight bout.
