Daron Cruickshank and Topnoi TigerMuayThai have both been added to the Rizin 16 card according to reliable reports. The UFC veteran faces Tofiq Musaev while the Muay Thai fighter has been matched with Takaki Soya.
Cruickshank (21-11-0-1) has fought eight times for the Japanese promotion. He’s coming off a decision loss to fellow UFC alumni Damien Brown at Rizin 14.
The American has been matched with Musaev (14-3) in Kobe. The Azerbaijani is riding a ten fight winning streak that culminated in a submission win over Nobumitsu Osawa at Rizin 14.
Meanwhile the always entertaining Topnoi (6-2) returns. He has been matched with Soya (9-4-1) a Shooto veteran who will be making his promotional debut on June 2nd.
At Rizin 16 Tenshin Nasukawa will face Ahmed Ferradji in a kickboxing bout. Meanwhile two of Japan’s top female fighters will also go head to head when Kanna Asakura takes on Miyuu Yamamoto in a catchweight contest.
