Featherweights Daiki Hata and Tetsuya Seki will go head to head at Deep 103. The event is set for the Korakuen Hall on September 23rd.
Hata (20-14-6) celebrates his 39th birthday later this month. He is a former Deep bantamweight champion and challenged unsuccessfully for the featherweight strap in 2018.
Seki (13-7-1) makes his promotional debut. The former Zst featherweight champion was last seen in action at Rizin 27 where he was stopped by UFC veteran Yoshinori Horie.
Also added to the card this week was a flyweight fight pitting Haruo Ochi (19-9-2) against Kazuki Shibuya (8-8-1). The former was submitted by Namiki Kawahara in a strawweight title fight at Deep 96 while the latter was stopped by Yamato Fujita in a flyweight title fight at Deep 100.
Among the other fights added to the card is a flyweight bout between Takahiro Komakine (10-2) and Kohei Sugiyama (10-6). In the bantamweight division Kosuke Terashima (17-17-5) meets Yuta Hashimoto (5-1).
As previously announced he flyweight title will be on the line at Deep 103. The promotion will finally be crowning a replacement for Makoto Takahashi
Interim champion Yamato Fujita will face off against Yuki Ito. At stake will be the flyweight strap that Takahashi vacated in order to sign with Deep last year.
Deep 102 took place at the same venue last month. Featherweight champion Juntaro Ushiku beat Daisuke Nakamura by split decision in the main event.
