DK Yoo has a bold prediction ahead of his exhibition fight with Manny Pacquiao in December. The Korean believes that he will ‘win with the jab’ against the experienced Filipino southpaw.

DK Yoo has been training in Los Angeles and sharing footage of himself working out at the Wild Card Gym, a camp which was made famous by Pacquiao during his fight. The boxer prepared for some of his biggest bouts there including the 2015 fight with Floyd Mayweather.

The Korean has been working on his jab in the Los Angeles gym and thinks Pacquiao will have no answer for this weapon:

Boxing veteran

Pacquiao is a veteran of 72 professional fights so this won’t be the first time an opponent has attempted to jab him. But he is now retired from professional boxing and it remains to be seen how seriously the 43 year old is taking this contest.

These days Pacquiao is a full time politician but he has got back in the gym to prepare for this exhibition match. The boxer has been regularly sharing photos of him training with long term trainer Buboy Fernandez at the Manny Pacquiao Gym in General Santos City.

Despite having announced his retirement last year Pacquiao doesn’t appear to have put on any weight and his partying days are well behind him. The boxer looks like he will be in good shape when he steps into the ring to face DK Yoo on December 10th.

Bad news

That could be bad news for the Korean martial artist who is better known as a YouTuber than a boxer. DK Yoo has only previously competed in one exhibition boxing match against a UFC veteran who didn’t appear to be taking the contest too seriously.

He clearly thinks that sharing a ring with Pacquiao will bolster his reputation and, perhaps more importantly, boost his following on social media. But the multiple time boxing world champion still packs a punch and it is a move that could well backfire on the Korean.

When they faced off earlier this month it was clear that DK Yoo will enjoy an advantage in terms of height and reach. But the gulf in terms of skill and experience is so vast that Pacquiao could put a humiliating beating on the social media star, if he wanted to!
