Pancrase 321 is set for Shinkiba Studio Coast on May 30th. The card will be headlined by a featherweight title fight with Isao Kobayashi putting his belt on the line against Taichi Nakajima.

As usual the promotion took to Twitter to announced the matchup:

Kobayashi (26-5-2) is riding a five fight winning streak. At Pancrase 295 he claimed the interim version of the featherweight title, stopping Koyomi Matsushima with a knee late in the opening round.

He successfully defended that title at Pancrase 305 with a decision win over Nazareno Malegarie. At Pancrase 309 he became the undisputed champion, avenging his 2017 defeat to Kyle Aguon with a split decision win.

Nakajima (15-11-1) earned a title shot on the back of his biggest career win. At Pancrase 318 he scored a split decision win over Yoshinori Horie, becoming only the third fighter to ever beat the UFC veteran.

Nakajima made his Pancrase debut in 2011 and has been in with the likes of Shoko Sato, Motonobu Tezuka and Victor Henry. He has also fought in Russia and his last six fights have all gone the distance.
