The flyweight title will be on the line at Shooto 0620. Interim champion Ryuya Fukuda takes on undefeated challenger Tatsuro Taira in Osaka on June 20th.
Fukuda (12-5-1) claimed the interim version of the strap by stopping Yoshiro Maeda in the third round at Shooto 0712. He first fought for the promotion in 2012 and comes into this title bout on the back of a three fight winning streak.
Taira (8-0) is also coming off a stoppage win over Maeda at Shooto 0320. The 22 year old submitted the veteran after just 61 seconds of the first round to cement his status as the brightest prospect on the scene in Japan.
In the co-main event Shutaro Debana (6-3) has been matched with Mark Moleke (9-8). This fight is a catchweight contest and is set for 159lbs.
Meanwhile two experienced featherweights go head to head when Derricott Yamamoto (9-7-1) takes on Takanori Takahashi (11-11-5). In the strawweight division Masayoshi Kato has been matched with Ken Asahina.
There are also two bantamweight bouts on the card. Daiki Tsubota (8-8-3) takes on Daisuke Maekawa (4-7-2) while Koshi Aoyagi (5-4-1) Has been matched with Kazuhiro Kishida (1-1).
