K’Festa 4 is the first big kickboxing event of the year. The venue is the Yoyogi National Gymnasium which has historical significance for the promotion and the full fight card has been released.
The previous three K’Festa cards have taken place at the Saitama Super Arena. But in 2021 the fourth installment will take place at the venue which hosted the first ever K-1 Grand Prix back in 1993.
In the heavyweight division Kyotaro Fujimoto has been matched with Kosuke Jitsukata. The former is a two time K-1 heavyweight champion who has been in with some of the biggest names in the division.
Former K-1 super lightweight champion Rukiya Anpo returns to action for the first time since losing his title. He is moving up to welterweight to take on Kaito whio beat him back in 2015.
There will be a contingent of four fighters from Thailand who are going through quarantine procedures in order to compete on this card. Yodkhunpon Sitmonchai, Dansiam AyothayaFightGym, Kamlaiphet Pran26 and Petchseenil Sor Puangthong will all be travelling to take on Japanese opponents.
As previousy announced Takeru and Leona Pettas will finally go head to head on January 24th. The former will be putting his super featherweight title on the line.
