Full fight card released for AFC 10
AFC 10 will take place at Sindorim Techno Mart in Seoul, South Korea on January 28th. The organization released its final lineup for the event that includes a total of eight matches with two being under kickboxing rules.
As previously announced, the vacant openweight title fight between former Heat title holder Lee Sang-Soo and undefeated Brazilian Giacomo Lemos has been bumped up to the main event due to welterweight champion Bae Myung-Ho injuring his spine and pulling out. The co-main slot will go to rising featherweight prospect Lee Do-Gyeom facing off against gritty Japanese warhorse Fumiya Sasaki.
Alongside Lee, Jang Won-Jun will be making his promotional debut against AFC vet Seo Jin-Soo. Jang is well-known as ‘Hell Boy’ on the regional scene because he was born with only his thumb and pinkie finger on his right hand. With that said, he has a tough task ahead of him when he collides with Seo, a ‘Korean Zombie’ disciple with knockout power.
The only women’s matchup of the night will be a clash of the undefeated. West Gym representative Park Bo-Hyun will be pitted against Wangho MMA’s Kang Ji-Won. Both fighters bring the action and rarely take a step back so the action could be at a fever pitch.
Heavyweights Jung Chul-Hyun and Kang Ji-Won will battle while power striker Ahn Jae-Young will take on Hong Kong native Sasha Palatnikov after almost two years on the shelf.
In true AFC fashion, a few kickboxing bouts were added to the mix. Kwon Ki-Sup and Ahn Chang-Joo will throw down in the featherweight division and middleweights Kim Do-Yoon and Kim Sang-Ho will tussle to kick off the event.
