Angel’s Fighting Championship 9 is set for Seoul on December 17th. The event won’t feature giant kickboxer Choi Hong-Man who pulled out due to injury but there are seven fights on the card which will be a mixture of kickboxing and MMA.

Japanese kickboxer Moriki Kazuyoshi will face No Jae Gil in the main event with the Korean’s AFC lightweight title on the line. The other title fight on the card at the KBS Arena Hall sees Moon Gi Bum (8-4) defend his featherweight belt against Lee Min Gu (6-4-1) in regular MMA action.

Tilek Zheenbekov was initially scheduled to defend his AFC heavyweight title against Lee Sang Soo but looks set to vacate the title instead as he seems to be injured long term. Meanwhile, Lim Jun Soo’s kickboxing bout with Myung Hyun Man was shelved after the former suffered a back injury.

Korean bantamweight Song Young Jae (2-0-1) will go in search of his third AFC win when he takes on Danish debutant Victor Georgsen in a bantamweight contest. The remainder of the MMA fights on the card all involve promotional newcomers.
