ONE Warrior Series 5 is set for Singapore on Wednesday and will feature nine fights. The main event pits EFC welterweight champion Gunther Kalunda against Brazilian Muay Thai specialist Carlos Prates.
Kalunda (5-0) was welterweight champion with Africa’s biggest MMA promotion, EFC, before signing with ONE Championship. Meanwhile Prates (8-4) is a Muay Thai fighter riding a three fight winning streak.
Min Jon Song (9-7) who was last seen winning the interim Road FC flyweight title in 2015 returns after a four year absence. He faces former BAMMA bantamweight champion Alan Philpott (17-10) in a bantamweight bout.
Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg (3-2) will be fighting on his fourth straight card in the series. He’s coming off an impressive win over Ali Motamed at OWS 4 and takes on Cambodia’s Chan Samart (2-4) in another bantamweight fight.
