A lightweight fight has been added to the Pancrase 319 card. Hiroto Uesako will take on Koshi Matsumoto at Shinkiba Studio Coast on October 25th.

Matsumoto (20-9-2) was last seen in action at ONE: ‘Century’ where he suffered a decision loss to Takasuke Kume. He has not fought for Pancrase since 2011 but is the former Shooto lightweight champion.
Uesako (16-9) is the former Deep featherweight champion. He was last seen in action at Bellator Japan, where he was stopped by Yusuke Yachi.
As previously announced Japanese veteran Yuki Kondo will face Yutaka Kobayashi in a welterweight bout at Pancrase 319. In the bantamweight division Takeshi Kasugai has been booked to face Toshinori Tsunemura.
The event will take place behind closed doors and with a same day weigh in. Fighters will be allowed to move up a division to compensate, so lightweights will be required to weigh in at 170lbs.
