The UFC will also utilize the building as its headquarters in Asia, housing employees as well as Performance Institute staff. Additional features will include hospitality suites, dining, retail services, and a fan experience area.
Last week the widely reported strawweight title fight between champion Jessica Andrade and Weili Zhang was confirmed for UFC Fight Night Shenzhen. The Chinese challenger is on a 19 fight winning streak and is looking to become the first fighter from her country to win a UFC title.
The event is set for the Universiade Sports Centre on August 31st and will be the UFC’s third fight card on mainland China.
