Bibiano Fernandes reign as the ONE Championship bantamweight king is over! John Lineker knocked him out in the second round tonight after a back and forth brawl in which both men had their moments.
It was a left hook from the UFC veteran that did the damage at ONE: ‘Lights Out’:

Fernandes had dropped Lineker with a left hook of his own in the opening round. But the challenger was doing more damage and the champion’s face was badly marked up by the time the second stanza started.
There is no quit in Fernandes and he elected to stay in the pocket and trade punches with Lineker. But he paid a heavy price with that left hook instantly ending the fight and finishing his reign as a bantamweight champion.
The king is dead. Long live the king!
