The K-1 World Grand Prix 2021 is set for Ota City Gymnasium on May 23rd. The event will feature an eight man bantamweight (117lbs) tournament for Japanese fighters.

The tournament will feature reigning Krush bantamweight champion Miburo Kazuki. He has been matched with Noda Aoi who, at the age of 18, is the youngest fighter in the tournament.

In the other quarter finals Mao Hashimoto has been matched with Omura Naoki while Matsumoto Hinata meets Uzawa Yuya and Kuroda Toma takes on Ikeda Koji. All eight fighters are on the Krush roster with the latter coming off a win at Kā€™Festa 4.

In the atomweight (99lbs) division former Shootboxing minimumweight champion Mio Tsumura was scheduled to fight the Krush atomweight champion Miyuu Sugawara.
