An Asian MMA veteran has been added to the UFC Fight Night Shenzhen card. Kai-Kara France made his name competing on this content and the New Zealander will be facing Mark De La Rosa in a flyweight fight on August 31st.
Kara France (19-7-0-1) has won two fights out of two for the UFC. He has spent much of his career competing in Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China and is currently at #11 in the 125lbs rankings.
His opponent sits at #15 in the UFC flyweight rankings. De La Rosa (11-2) saw a two fight winning streak snapped by a decision loss to Alex Perez in March and will be fighting in Asia for the first time.
