More fights were added to the Shooto 0131 card today. Among them is a fight between Taison Naito and Keisuke Sasu which will have the Shooto Pacific Rim featherweight title on the line.
Sasu (7-1-1) won the title at Shooto 0919 by stopping Takashi Nakayama in the second round. The 26 year old is riding a five fight winning streak.
Naito (10-7-1) stopped Jin Aoi in the second round at Shooto 0715 last year but did not fight at all in 2020. he made his promotional debut in 2014 but has lost five out of his last seven bouts.
Also in the featherweight division Tsubasa Saito (8-5-1) has been matched with Takumi Arai (1-0-1). Meanwhile Yusuke Kamata (5-2) takes on Yuto Sekiguchi (9-7-6) in a bantamweight bout.
As previously announced Shooto 0131 is set for New Pier Hall in Tokyo. Among the fights already on the card is a featherweight bout pitting Hayato Ishii against Yoshizumi Kobayashi.
Also in the featherweight division Nobuki Fujii has been matched with Kenji Kato. At welterweight Yamato Nishikawa takes on Max The Body while Takeaki Kinoshita (2-3-1) faces Yasuhira Ozera (0-1) in a lightweight fight.
