Khai Wu is set to compete at Colorado Combat Club 7. The Taiwanese American bantamweight’s last two fights have been in Taipei but with international travel restrictions in place he has decided to resume his competitive career in the US.

Wu was born in the US but both his parents are from Taiwan and five of his seven professional fights have taken place there. This time he will be competing in Pueblo against Alejandro Rodriguez.

Wu (6-2) is riding a four fight winning streak but has not fought in over a year. He last saw action at WOTD 03 in Taipei, beating Sung Min Kim by decision.

The only two losses of Wu’s career came on Bellator cards in 2018. He dropped a split decision to Isaiah Batin-Gonzalez and was stopped by Cass Bell.

Rodriguez (2-1) has not fought since 2019. He is coming off back to back submission wins and also has some amateur experience.
