Koki booked the final spot in the 2019 K-1 World Grand Prix with a decision win over Junya Weerasakreck at Krush 100 in Tokyo on Friday night.

He successfully defended his Krush bantamweight title with a decision win over the Thai fighter at the Korakuen Hall. All four judges saw the bout in favour of the champion.

Koki’s reward is a quarter final bout with Samuel Babayan in the quarter finals of the K-1 World Grand Prix. The super bantamweight tournament is set for Ryogoku Kokugikan on July 30th.

The other three quarter final matchups pit Kumura Shuhei against Sadegh Hashemi, Takei Yoshiki against Alex Rivas and Kumura Masahi against Petpangnan Mor Rattanabandit.
