Martin Nguyen will be back in action at ONE on TNT Part II. The former featherweight champion has been matched with Kim Jae Woong in a bout that will be broadcast on April 14th.
Nguyen (13-4) was stopped by Thanh Le at ONE: ‘Inside the Matrix’ last October. That defeat cost him the featherweight title he had held since 2017.
Woong (11-4) is coming off a win over Tetsuya Yamada at ONE: ‘Big Bang’ Part II. He has won two fights out of three for the promotion and is currently #5 in the featherweight rankings, four places below his opponent.
The other fight added to the card is a strawweight kickboxing bout between Wondergirl Fairtex and Amber Kitchen. However it remains to be seen whether this will go ahead after the Thai fighter was dropped hard during her decision loss to Jackie Buntan yesterday.
As previously announced the event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium will be headlined by a lightweight title fight. Christian Lee will be making the second defence of his belt against Timofey Nastyukhin who holds a notable win over Eddie Alvarez.
