A flyweight fight between Masatatsu Ueda and Ryuichi Miki is one of two bouts added to the Pancrase 311 card. The former will be looking to get back to winning ways after having challenged unsuccessfully for the interim 125lbs title earlier this year.

At Pancrase 307 in September Ueda (16-4-2) rematched Shohei Masumizu for the interim strap. He was stopped in the second round and has yet to win a title in his MMA career.

Miki (20-12-14) is a former bantamweight Shooto champion and flyweight King of Pancrase. After three decision losses in a row he got back on track with a brilliant win in June.

At Pancrase 306 he finished Manabu Inoue with a flying knee with just seconds remaining in the second round. It was the 36 year old’s first stoppage win since 2013.

The other fight added to the Pancrase 311 card pits Shinsuke Kamei against highly experienced Brazilian Victor Hugo in a featherweight bout that will surely test the Japanese prospect.

Kamei (3-1) is coming off the first defeat of his career, a decision loss to Yojiro Uchimura at Pancrase 304. Hugo (19-4) has won eight in a row in Brazil and hasn’t lost a fight since 2014.

As previously announced Pancrase 311 will be headlined by an interim strawweight title fight between Emi Fujino and Hyun-Ji Jang. The belt was vacated by Viviane Araujo who signed for the UFC.

The event will also feature a bantamweight fight between Yuto Hokamura and Saimon Oliveira. Meanwhile flyweight Yusuke Ogikubo faces South African Luthando Biko.
