Former ONE Championship executive Miesha Tate and Rizin veteran Jinh Yu Frey will both be in action in June 5th. They are competing on a UFC card which doesn’t currently have a name or a venue.

Tate (19-9) will be returning to the 135lbs division after an unsuccessful experiment with competing at flyweight. She dropped a decision to Lauren Murphy at UFC on ABC 3.

But it at bantamweight that the 36 year old really made her name. She was the Strikeforce and UFC 135lbs champion and faced the likes of Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes.

Tate joined ONE Championship after retiring from competitive MMA. But she decided to relaunch her career after the Covid-19 pandemic and made a comeback in 2021, beating Marion Reneau in her first fight for five years.

Having lost her last two Tate will be desperate for another win on June 5th. She faces Mayra Bueno Silva (10-2-1) who comes into this contest on the back of three straight wins.
