There will no longer be a strawweight title fight on the Pancrase 313 card. Mitsuhisa Sunabe will be replacing the injured Daichi Kitakata and will face Adam Antolin for the interim strawweight title but the bout has been moved to Pancrase 314.

It was announced earlier this week that Kitakata had broken his hand in training and would be unable to compete. Pancrase did not waste any time finding a replacement, with former champion Sunabe stepping up to fill the void.

Sunabe (29-9-4) formerly held the strawweight title. But he lost his crown to Kitakata last year, who stopped him in the fifth round of a thrilling fight.

Antolin (15-5) has scored back to back stoppage wins for the Japanese promotion. In his most recent outing the American submitted Hiroaki Ijima with a front choke at Pancrase 310.

This Sunday Pancrase 312 is scheduled for Shinkiba Studio Coast. The event will be headlined by an interim lightweight title fight between Genpei Hayashi and Tatsuya Saika.
