The full fight card for UAE Warriors 23 is out. The event is set for Abu Dhabi on Thursday and in the flyweight division Nawras Abzakh faces Mohamed Gamal.
Abzakh (7-4) hails from Jordan and is winless in his last four fights. He should have had a TKO win over James Dea at UAE Warriors 8 but the referee inexplicably gave the Cameroonian time to recover after being stopped with a body shot.
Gamal (7-3) is also on a disappointing run of results. The Egyptian has lost his last two and will be making his UAE Warriors debut.
AS previously announced two undefeated fighters will face off in a catchweight contest at UAE Warriors 23. Mohammed Osseili and Yousri Belgaroui will go head to head at the Jiu Jitsu Arena in Abu Dhabi on October 28th.
With UFC 267 taking place in Abu Dhabi the same weekend it could be an opportunity for both fighters to impress. Osseili has already won three fights for UAE Warriors and at 6’5″ the Lebanese star might be the tallest fighter in the division.
Belgaroui s a Glory veteran and recently challenged for the promotion’s middleweight title. The Dutchman has been in with the likes of Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira during his kickboxing career.
The co-main event will be a featherweight fight with Hussein Salem (7-3) facing Lebanon’s Yousif Ghrairi (8-2). The Iranian has won three in a row coming into this fight.
UAE Warriors 24 will take place in the same venue the following night with Vinicius de Oliveira defending his bantamweight title against Sylvester Chipfumbu in the headliner.
