Today ONE Championship is doing an all female card. And the event on October 15th will consist of nothing but Muay Thai and kickboxing contests with Giorgio Petrosyan and Rodtang Jitmuangnon both in action according to SCMP.
ONE: ‘First Strike’ is set for the Singapore Indoor Stadium. In the main event Petrosyan faces Superbon Banchamek for the inaugural featherweight kickboxing belt.
Rodtang takes on Daniel Puertas in the co-main event. This will be a first foray into kickboxing for the reigning flyweight Muay Thai champion.
There will also be an eight man featherweight tournament getting underway with the winner being handed a shot at the newly crowned champion. In the quarter finals Marat Grigorian faces Andy Souwer, Sittichai Sitsongpeenong takes on Tayfun Ozcan, Samy Sana meets Chingiz Allazov of Azerbaijan and Enriko Kehl goes up against Davit Kiria.
In Muay Thai action Saemapetch Fairtex takes on Tawanchai PKSaenchaigym in a bantamweight Muay Thai bout. There are three more kickboxing contests on the card including a heavyweight fight between Rade Opacic and Patrick Schmid.
