Emilio Urrutia will not be appearing at ONE: ‘Masters of Fate’. The American is no longer on the fight card and will be replaced by Rafael Nunes who faces Jae Woong Kim at the MOA Arena on November 8th.
Nunes (11-2) has been on the ONE Championship roster since 2014 but has only fought three times. He’s endured an injury-prone last few years and seen five different matchups cancelled.
The Brazilian did manage to get two fights in last year and will be returning from a 17-month layoff to face Kim (9-3). The Korean is a former Top FC 145lbs champion and will be making his promotional debut in Manila.
As previously announced ONE: ‘Masters of Fate’ will be headlined by an all Filipino strawweight title bout between champion Joshua Pacio and challenger Rene Catalan. Meanwhile Eduard Folayang faces Amarsanaa Tsogookhuu in a lightweight bout.
Former flyweight king Geje Eustaquio rematches Toni Tauru while Sangmanee Sathiangym faces Azize Hlali in a bantamweight Muay Thai fight.
