ONE Fight Night 11 is set for Bangkok on June 9th. The event will feature no fewer than three title fights with Regian Eersel set to defend his lightweight Muay Thai belt against Dmitry Menshikov.Β

Eersel has won nine fights out of nine for ONE Championship. He holds the ONE Championship lightweight kickboxing and Muay Thai titles and is coming off a big win in this venue.

At ONE Friday Fights 9 he stopped Sinsamut Klinmee in Lumpinee Stadium. It was Eersel’s first time fighting in Thailand and he earned a $50,000 USD bonus for that performance.

Menshikov is a Glory veteran who will be making his promotional debut. He comes into this contest on the back of an 11 fight winning streak but will be fighting outside of Europe for the first time.

Submission grappling

The co-main event will also be a title fight. Kade Ruotolo will be making the second defence of his lightweight submission grappling belt when he takes on fellow BJJ black belt Tommy Langaker.

Both men have a 100% winning record in ONE Championship fights. Ruotolo recently won gold at the ADCC World Championships while Langaker is coming off a submission win in Lumpinee Stadium which earned him a $50,000 USD bonus.

Comeback trail

Superbon Banchamek will be on the comeback trail on June 9th. He was knocked out by Chingiz Allazov at ONE Fight Night 5 and that defeat cost him his featherweight kickboxing belt and snapped an eight fight winning streak.

Superbon had established himself as the best kickboxer in the world in the eyes of many by beating Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, Giorgio Petrosyan and Marat Grigorian. He remains the #1 ranked featherweight and will be facing #5 ranked Tayfun Ozcan in Bangkok.
