Reina Miura faces Yoko Higashi in a catchweight contest at Deep 101. The event is set for the Korakuen Hall on May 5th.
The fight is set for 141lbs and Miura (12-3) has had issues making weight on multiple occasions. She is a Deep and Deep-Jewels veteran who has also fought multiple times for Rizin.
Higashi (5-2) is making her Deep-Jewels debut. She had previously been competing for Pancrase and is coming off a decision win over Nao Murayama at Pancrase 320 last December.
Koichi Ishizuka (16-6-1) will be looking to turn his career around after losing three of his last four fights. The 34 year old has been matched with Kosuke Terashima (17-16-5) in a bantamweight bout.
Reigning Deep welterweight champion Ryuichiro Sumimura (16-8) will be in action in a non title bout on May 5th. His belt won’t be on the line when he faces Nao Yoneda (7-4-1) who is on a two fight winning streak.
