ONE: ‘Century’ is set for the Ryōgoku Kokugikan on October 13th. This show looks set to be an eliminator for fighters wanting to compete on that marquee event.
ONE: ‘Century’ will be the promotion’s 100th major event. It will feature at least three title fights with Aung La Nsang, Bibiano Fernandes and Angela Lee all defending their belts.
The organization will be holding the inaugural World Martial Arts Week in Tokyo from October 5-13th. It will feature both martial arts and esports.
There is also set to be a ONE Warrior Series event in Tokyo with a ‘Japan vs the World’ theme. Road to ONE: ‘Century’ will take place at Studio Coast which is a venue frequently used by Pancrase.
Pancrase bantamweight champion Rafael Silva recently announced he would be fighting for ONE Championship and could well feature on this card. A featherweight bout between Kleber Koike Erbst and Akiyo Nishiura is also rumoured to be in the works.
