Shooto 30th Anniversary Tour 7th Round is set for Tokyo on September 22nd. The event will feature the return of Hiroyuki Takaya who last fought for the promotion in 2007.

Takaya hasn’t fought since 2017 and the identity of his opponent has not been disclosed. One matchup that is confirmed for this event pits bantamweight champion Ryo Okada against Tatsuya Ando.

Okada (15-4-2) will be defending the 135lbs title he won at Shooto 1/27 in January. He is riding a five fight winning streak dating all the way back to 2007.
