ONE: ‘Full Blast’ is set for Singapore on May 28th. The tape delayed event will be headlined by a bantamweight Muay Thai fight pitting Saemapetch Fairtex against Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai.
In 2017 Kulabdam was named the Sports Writers Association of Thailand ‘Fighter of the Year’, the highest accolade in the sport. He has held Lumpinee titles at lightweight and super lightweight and is one of the best Muay Thai fighters in the world.
Saemapetch’s main claim to fame was winning a tournament at Channel 7 Stadium. He is coming off an impressive stoppage win over Pongsiri PKSaenchaigym at that venue last November.
In MMA action Kantharaj Agasa (11-2) makes his ONE Championship debut. The Indian has been matched with China’s Wei Xie (6-3) in a flyweight fight.
Ahmed Faress (16-3) will also be making his promotional debut after beating Alan Philpott at OWS 10 last year. The Egyptian has been matched with Edward Kelly (12-8) in a featherweight fight.
A catchweight contest added to the card pits Anthony Do (7-4) against Liang Hui (5-6-1). In welterweight kickboxing action Santino Verbeek goes up against Miles Simson.
