Francisca Vera will be back in action at ONE Friday Fights 14. The Phuket Fight Club representative faces Lisa Brierley in a catchweight contest this Friday.
Vera really lived up to her nickname of ‘Scarface’ last time out, getting cut before coming from behind to beat Gusjung Fairtex at ONE Friday Fights 4. That wound has had plenty of time to heal and she will be looking to make it two wins out of two against the English newcomer.
Brierley is the reigning Lion Fight flyweight champion. She is based permanently in Thailand and fights out of Santai Muay Thai in Chiang Mai:

First taste
Meanwhile Saeksan Or Kwanmuang will be back in action on April 29th. The hard hitting Thai has been matched with ONE Championship veteran Sean Clancy at Lumpinee Stadium.
The bantamweight bout is set for ONE Friday Fights 14. Saeksan recently got his first taste of fighting with MMA gloves on and seemed to enjoy it.
At ONE Friday Fights 1 he beat Tyson Harrison by split decision and earned a $50,000 USD bonus. At ONE Friday Fights 9 he beat Silviu Vitez by decision and earned himself a $10,000 USD bonus.
By contrast Clancy is coming off back to back losses. He was knocked out by Tawanchai PKSaenchaigym and dropped a decision to Pongsiri PKSaenchaigym.
Clancy appears to subscribe to the philosophy that ‘if you can’t beat them, join them’ because he recently relocated to Bangkok to train at the PKSaenchai Gym. But the Irishman has been handed another tonight matchup against an elite Thai opponent.
