Seung Woo Choi will return at UFC Fight Night 186. The Korean featherweight has been booked to face Steven Peterson on February 6th.
Choi (8-3) scored his first win inside the octagon at UFC Busan last December. He was scheduled to compete at UFC Fight Island 5 in October but pulled out due to an injury.
That victory over Suman Mokhtarian in Korea snapped a two fight losing streak for the 27 year old who was the Top FC 145lbs champion before signing with the UFC. In his first two fights in the octagon he was beaten by Gavin Tucker and Movsar Evloev.
Peterson (18-9) has won two fights out of five since signing for the UFC. The former Legacy FC bantamweight champion has not fought at all in 2020.
The event is likely to take place at the Apex Centre in Las Vegas. In the main event K-1 and Pride veteran Alistair Overeem (47-18-0-1) will look to continue his renaissance in a heavyweight fight with Alexander Volkov (32-8).
