One of the top kickboxers in the world has signed up for the ONE Super Series. Superbon Banchamek has put pen to paper on a deal that could see him competing against the likes of Yodsaenklai Fairtex and Giorgio Petrosyan.

Superbon has competed in numerous disciplines and picked up multiple titles along the way. As a star on the stadium scene in Bangkok he beat Singdam Kiatmoo9, Eakpracha Meenayothin and Kaew Fairtex, claiming a Thailand 135lbs title in the process.

His career then took an unconventional direction as he won the IFMMA world championships two years in a row. He went on to win the Kunlun World Max tournament in 2017, beating Jomthong Chuwattana and Sittichai Sitsongpeenong.

Superbon’s exploits with Kunlun established him as one of the top pound for pound kickboxers on the planet. The 29 year old signs for ONE Championship on the back of a nine fight winning streak.

It remains to be seen which weight class Superbon will compete in. ONE Championship’s 155lbs division is currently home to several big names including Petrosyan and Yodsaenklai but, unlike other promotions, fighters are required to pass hydration tests as well as making weight.
