Takahiro Ashida faces Tatsunao Nagakura in featherweight fight at Deep 92
Two experienced featherweights will meet at the Korakuen Hall on October 22nd. Takahiro Ashida faces Tatsunao Nagakura in one of two fights currently confirmed for Deep 92.
Ashida (22-10-2) is a former Deep 145lbs champion. He lost the title after dropping a decision to Satoshi Yamasu last October.
Nagakura (14-8) has challenged for the belt on two separate occasions. But he came up short both times, getting stopped by Koichiro Matsumoto in 2011 and dropping a split decision to Masakazu Imanari in 2016.
The other fight currently on the card pits two flyweight journeyman together. Kosuke Suzuki (13-11-3) is a ONE Championship veteran but has lost four out of his last five bouts.
He goes up against Chikara Shimabukuro (14-14-6). The 38 year old is a promotional veteran but has just one win in his last six fights.
Deep-Jewels 26 is set for the same venue on the previous night.
