Tatsumitsu Wada faces Ivanildo Delfino at ONE: ‘Fire & Fury’
A flyweight fight between Tatsumitsu Wada and Ivanildo Delfino had been added to the ONE: ‘Fire & Fury’ card. The two were originally set to fight in the quarter finals of last year’s flyweight Grand Prix but the Brazilian withdrew with an injury.
At the MOA Arena on January 31st Delfino (8-0) will finally make his promotional debut. It will be the undefeated flyweight’s first fight since April, 2018 when he claimed the interim Jungle Fight 125lbs title.
Last year Wada (21-2-11-1) claimed a decision win over Gustavo Balart in the quarter finals. In the final four he faced Demetrious Johnson and pushed the former UFC flyweight champion all the way in a unanimous decision defeat.
In the lightweight division former champion Eduard Folayang will be looking to make it back to back wins when he faces Ahmed Mutjaba. Meanwhile Danny Kingad, who is also coming off a decision defeat to Johnson, has been matched with ONE Hero Series veteran Xie Wei.
