ONE Championship is celebrating its tenth anniversary. To commemorate the occasion the promotion had decided to introduce new belts.

The brand new titles weigh an incredible 26.4lbs as Chatri Sityodtong explained on Facebook:

Anyone challenging for one of these titles might need to book an extra baggage allowance. Fortunately they also come with a ‘customized suitcase’ which might help fighters to avoid any awkward conversations at the airport.

Fighters, like atomweight champion Angela Lee, competing in ONE Championship’s lowest divisions are required to weigh in at 115lbs. That means the belt will be just under 25% of their body weight, carrying it home will be a workout in itself.

Five of these belts will be handed out at ONE: ‘X’ on Saturday. In the main event Lee is defending her atomweight title against Stamp Fairtex.

The champion flew into Singapore with her one year old baby daughter. Lee will be hoping to fly back to Hawaii with a brand new belt and might need to book some extra baggage allowance if she can beat Stamp on Saturday!
