Deep-Jewels 29 is set for Shinjuku Face on July 23rd. The rescheduled event will be headlined by a strawweight title bout between Asami Nakai and Miki Motono.

In the co-main event Shizuka Sugiyama (18-6-1) faces Kano Kagaya (1-0). The former is significantly more experienced and is coming off a win a Deep-Jewels 25, while the latter made her pro debut at Deep-Jewels 27.

Three fights were announced in the super atomweight (49kgs) division. Pan Hui (5-5) hails from China but is based in Japan and she has been matched with Otoha Nagao (2-2).

Meanwhile Hikaru Aono (5-3) takes on Lion Noda (1-0). The other super atomweight fight currently on the card puts Sakura Mori (2-0) against Mayu Kawanishi who is undefeated as an amateur and makes her pro debut.

The promotion also took to Facebook to assure Suwanan Boonsorn and Si Woo Park that both fighters feature prominently in its future plans. The former is stuck in Thailand while the latter is currently unable to travel to Japan from Korea.

Boonsorn has been set to meet Mizuki Furuse in the final of the microweight tournament on this card. But she won’t be able to compete again until commercial flights from Thailand to Japan start to operate.
