Pancrase 309 is set for Shinkiba Studio Coast on October 20th and will be headlined by a featherweight title fight. Three more matchups were added to the card including a bantamweight bout between Takeshi Kasugai and Alan Yamaniha.

As usual the promotion took to Twitter to announce the three additional fights:

Kasugai (25-6-1) is riding a three fight winning streak and is the reigning Heat bantamweight champion. The 31 year old has been a professional fighter for over a decade and also tasted victory at Pancrase 305.

Yamaniha (15-8-4) is Brazilian but has spent his entire career competing in Japan and Korea. Like his opponent he has featured on a couple of Road FC cards, he stopped Toshinori Tsunemura at Pancrase 307 to snap a three fight losing skid.

Two other matchups were announced today. In the flyweight division multiple time boxing world title challenger Raika Emiko (10-6) takes on Brazil’s Anne Karoline (6-7) while Ukyo Abe (8-7-1) faces Taira Shinichi (15-10-9) in a lightweight contest.

As previously announced interim champion Isao Kobayashi will be putting his belt on the line in a rematch with Kyle Aguon in the Pancrase 309 headliner.
