Three fighters were awarded a $50,000 performance bonus in the aftermath of ONE: ‘Heavy Hitters’. Saygid Izagakhmaev, Senzo Ikeda and Ekaterina Vandaryeva will be heading home from Singapore with the cash.

The selection of Vandaryeva was an eye catching one as she lost by split decision to Supergirl Jaroonsakgym. The crowd didn’t agree with the decision and neither, apparently, did Chatri Sityodtong.

He decided to reward Vandaryeva for her performance despite the defeat. Izagakhmaev submitted James Nakashima in the second round to well and truly announce himself on the international stage.

If the Russian lightweight missed the presence of Khabib Nurmagomedov in his corner he didn’t let it show. The former UFC lightweight champion tested positive for Covid-19 and was watching from a Singapore hotel room.

Ikeda, 39, was the oldest fighter competing on the card. But he was well rewarded for finishing Elipitua Siregar with a third round body shot.

ONE Championship recently received a big influx of cash from some major institutional investors. Some of that money is already finding its way into the pockets of the fighters with $50,000 USD bonuses set to be handed out after every show.
