Top Korean prospect Myung Jae Wook to feature at GFC 3
Gentleman Flower Fighting Championship 3 is set for August 1st at Kyung Sung University, the home of Team Mad Gym in Busan. There will be an eight-bout main card full of Korean up-and-comers from all across the country.
The main event will feature an undefeated Team MAD prospect looking for the sixth win of his professional career. Myung Jae Wook (5-0) will be a strong favourite when he faces Hwang Do Yoon (0-3) in a 74kgs catchweight contest.
Myung is one of the fastest rising sluggers on the regional scene, with four knockouts to his resume. He will try to prolong his undefeated record by taking out the always durable Road FC veteran Hwang.
The co-main event stacks Gumi MMA’s Kwon Do Hyung (0-6) against Cheonan MMA representative Choi Ji Su (0-1). Both fighters will be battling for their first professional win in this welterweight showdown.
Next, Team Poma fighter Kim Yo Han (2-0) will put his unblemished record on the line against Paraestra Seoul’s Kim Il Kwon (0-2) in an 84kgs catchweight clash. The former will try for his first finish against an opponent who is looking to get in the win column for the first time as a professional.
The other major prospect on the card is another Team MAD prospect. Woo Sung Hoon (6-2) is coming off a knockout win over Kenshi Shimooka at the inaugural GFC show last February and faces off against Arzalet and Kaiser veteran Jung Sung Hoon (1-3) in a featherweight matchup.
