Stephen Loman is off the ONE on TNT Part III card. The Filipino bantamweight has tested positive for Covid-19 and Troy Worthen will now be facing John Lineker instead.
Worthen (7-1) has originally been booked to face Shuya Kamikubo on the card, which is being broadcast in the US on April 21st. Instead he finds himself matched with UFC veteran Lineker (33-9).
It is a blow for Loman who had been set to make his ONE Championship debut. Teammate Lito Adiwang was also forced to withdraw after a positive Covid-19 test while Eduard Folayang’s participation in the series is also in doubt.
The event will be headlined by a featherweight kickboxing bout pitting John Wayne Parr against Nieky Holzken. The card will feature a flyweight fight with Reece McLaren taking on Yuya Wakamatsu.
It remains to be seen whether a replacement opponent can be found to face Kamikubo.
